AGI（Artificial General Intelligence）は、人間の知能と同等またはそれ以上の知能を持つ人工知能のことを指します。一般的なタスクにおいて人間と同様の知能を持ち、様々な領域で高度な認知能力を発揮することができます。

AGIは、単一の特定のタスクに特化したAI（人工知能）とは異なり、様々なタスクや問題に対して柔軟に学習し、応用することができます。つまり、AGIは複数の知識領域にわたって活動し、問題解決や意思決定を行うことができる知能を持つAIです。

AGIの目標は、人間と同様の知識と理解力を持ち、人間のような認識、学習、推論、問題解決、意思決定などの能力を持つAIを開発することです。AGIの開発が成功すれば、様々な分野での自律的なタスク実行や人間の知能を超える問題解決が可能となり、社会や産業の進化に大きな影響を与えることが期待されています。

If the development of AGI is successful, it will be possible to autonomously execute tasks in a variety of fields and solve problems that exceed human intelligence, and is expected to have a major impact on the evolution of society and industry.
